Getting in shape

OK so I made Paul take a picture of me yesterday, because I am determined to lose that last 10 lbs of baby weight. So I am hoping in a little while I can report some weight loss success. Its been so hard because I have always loved chocolate, but since I had Thomas that is all I want to eat. I have been trying to find alternatives that don't have a lot of calories. My favorite 100 calorie snacks (Just in case anyone is looking for some ideas) are laughing cow cheese wedges with five crackers that is 105 calories, I also like kudos 100 calorie bars and mini bags of M&Ms which are around 90 calories. The only problem is that I like to bake and I am the only one who eats the stuff I make because Paul doesn't really like treats, so that makes trouble for me in the thigh and booty area. It has also been very difficult to lose weight because we have been keeping Thomas inside because of RSV season, and it makes for lots of opportunities to eat. I am excited that RSV season will soon be coming to a close and we can finally bless Thomas on March 2nd, we can't wait for our families to come to Arizona, we have missed them so much!

Not too much else is going on around here except Paul bought a large flat screen TV and for about two months all I have heard about is HD this and HD that its enough to drive me crazy! Yesterday the satellite people came to install HD satellite for the TV. I told him that this was the last HD thing we are buying because all the stuff he thinks he needs are pretty expensive. Somehow I think this is just the beginning and I am really in for it.

I agree with Dirty...you do look great!

We have been working on our weight around here too and it sucks! Something we have found that is chocolate that we love is sugar free, fat free jell-o pudding. Add a little fat free cool whip and you're good to go! They also have cheesecake fat free pudding and we love that with some fruit on top.

I am a major chocolate lover too! And I am in the same boat you are now that I have stopped nursing. My favorite lo-cal snacks are 3 Mustketeers Mint, Chocolate Granola bites (by the granola bars), and Pocky sticks (in the Asian aisle). I grew up eating these little chocolate covered biscuit sticks - they are a little bit of heaven - and about 10 of them make a reaonable serving. Have you ever dipped a banana in Hershey's syrup? That satisfies the sweet tooth too. I have a "1 Point" chocolate chip cookie recipe if you want it (Weight Watchers Points - these are good!). Let me know.
